PayPal Alternatives
Not only have we heard countless horror stories about PayPal, we have personally experienced them. We do not disparage other businesses because such behavior is unprofessional. However, please note:
Because we care about our clients and are in the business of helping, we neither accept PayPal, nor recommend it in any way.
So, what do we recommend?
• For merchants, we offer some great solutions that we will discuss together.
• For consumers, BillPay.com was excellent before it was bought and closed. We now recommend a few newer alternatives, such as Neteller®, which provides a wide array of online and offline payment solutions.
SC has no affiliation with Neteller and receives no benefit from recommending its services.
A: We have worked tirelessly to handpick and establish relationships with only the most reputable, reliable, and reasonably priced companies. SC will make sure that whatever your needs are, they will be exceeded on time and within your budget. Additionally, because our reputation depends on your satisfaction, we are determined to make sure that you are happy before our job is complete. After all, as any good company does, our growth is a direct result of your repeat and referral business.
Q: Where does SC operate?
A: All of SC's strategic partners are well established, and most service all of North America in addition to international clients. This is also true for SC. When necessary though, we will identify, contact, and negotiate contracts with suitable partners in your specific region.
Q: What are strategic partners?
A: Depending on your needs, we may or may not complete the underlying job ourselves. In many circumstances, we will connect you with companies that are in the business of doing what you specifically require. In every situation, we have researched and investigated various companies and their competition to find the one that will fit you best. Some of the things that we consider include companies' quality of service, availability, flexibility, price, reputation, speed, and professionalism.
Q: Aren't you really just service brokers?
A: No. Although our business certainly involves connecting you with strategic partners, who will handle the specific need(s) that you have, we also provide thorough consulting and expertise, negotiate your contracts with or for you, keep in contact beyond the contract signing(s), handle many needs ourselves, and do much, much more than a mere service broker. We also have extensive training and expertise in a vast variety of areas, far above what a broker can offer. You may think of us as a high-end, corporate concierge service. The
services page provides more information about what we are able to do for you. But, as a general rule, if you need it done, we can most likely do it for you.
Q: You routinely help businesses set up great websites... Why isn't yours "fancier"?
There are two answers to this question:
A: We are consultants not salespeople. We work with our clients to determine what is best for their specific needs, and then to arrange and secure it for them. SC remained healthy for a long time without a website, but decided to build this one simply to offer more information and convenience to clients and prospective clients. This website suits our needs perfectly, and SC is not interested in "showboating" with meaningless "glitz" for the sake of showing off. We will continually add to the information offered on our site, though.
A: Our website is simple by design. By keeping it simple, it remains both easy to navigate, and easily "crawled" by search engine "spiders". The more complex and functional a website becomes, the more likely that it will contain "errors" and other problems that deem it "invalid" for proper search engine optimization. For example, did you know that gorgeous Flash designs are invisible to search engines? None of the information presented within them will appear in search results. Applied correctly though, Flash can still be a useful technology.
Q: How and how much do you charge?
A: Some services require an hourly fee, while some may involve a flat fee or percentage. Because SC offers such a wide array of custom services, we cannot know before our initial consultatioin how we will charge, or even how much it will "cost" for you to resolve your concerns or address your needs.
A: Everything that SC offers is the best available, and is offered at an extremely reasonable rate to you. Best of all, some of our services are entirely free of consulting fees. Put simply, our services provide the greatest ROI of any business expenditure. Therefore, contacting us is guaranteed to be the smartest investment that you can make.
